Actor Zach Orji has emerged the winner of the Entertainment Award category at the 2012 edition of Planet Africa Awards in Toronto, Canada.
Orji was honoured alongside the likes of Hollywood actress, Vivica Fox, and Raymond Williams at the ceremony that attracts blacks from different countries.
“I give God the glory for everything that has been happening in my career. Out of the blue, I got the invitation that I was nominated for the Entertainment Award at this year’s edition of Planet Africa Awards and the lesson from this is that, do whatever you are doing well as you don’t know who is watching and from where,” Orji told Entertainment Café.
Orji, who has starred in over 150 films, is a former President, Actors’ Guild of Nigeria; member of the Directors’ Guild of Nigeria; Association of Movie Producers and Filmmakers’ Cooperative of Nigeria; and has attended various workshops on acting, initiated and executed auditions, castings and film projects, home and abroad.
