Enebeli Elebuwa sends message of hope From India sick bed

•Enebeli

Veteran Actor, Enebeli Elebuwa popularly known as Andrew Checking Out who was knocked down  by a devastating stroke last year, said he is getting better.
He spoke on telephone penultimate Friday, from his hospital bed in India to Oji Onoko, a journalist who has been monitoring his recovery since Delta State government moved him to Abuja in June this year.
In a voice reminiscent of his great acting days, Elebuwa who hails from Utagba-Uno in Ndokwa West local government area of Delta State, said he owes a debt of gratitude to the Delta State government which has been taking care of him since the debilitating illness started November last year.

He disclosed that the State dispatched its Commissioner of Culture and a renowned Actor,  Richard Mofe Damijo, RMD, to him at the Surulere hospital, Lagos where he was initially admitted immediately after with enough funds that took care of his treatment there and the two other hospitals he was referred to.

“Honestly, I am overwhelmed by the support and encouragement of Delta State to my plight”, he said. “But for the State’s intervention, I really don’t know what would have happened to me”, he added, stressing that the State governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan should be praised for his efforts
in saving the life of a fellow Deltan.

“The State flew me to an Indian facility in Abuja in June this year when my condition was deteriorating in Lagos”, he disclosed.  He said that was where for the first time he was able to stand unaided for three minutes after a two-month stay. “And when my condition could not improve beyond that point, the governor directed that I should be moved to India where I am currently receiving treatment and getting better by the day”.

Andy Uba fights Arthur Eze over N.2b property in Enugu

A sensational legal battle between a business mogul from Anambra State, Prince Arthur Eze and Senator Andy Uba, representing Anambra South Senatorial District  is now raging before an Enugu State High Court presided over by the Chief Judge, Justice Innocent Umezulike.
The legal battle erupted following an attempt by Prince Eze to take over two immovable properties belonging to  one Major Emmanuel Okwuosa which the Enugu State High Court ordered should be sold to enable Eze recover the $1million (about N157 million) allegedly owed him by Okwuosa.
However, Senator Uba is claiming ownership of the two properties namely: Plots M17 and O/19 Independence Layout, Enugu which the court presided over by Justice Umezulike, had earlier ordered to be attached for sale in favour of Prince Eze on October 10, 2012.
Umezulike had granted an ex-parte application brought by Obi Orakwue, counsel for Prince Eze pursuant to Section 44 of Sheriffs & Civil Process Act, 2004; Order IV Rules 1 (2) & 16 (1); Order VII Rule 7 Judgment Enforcement Rules and ordered the attachment and sale by private contract of the immovable properties of Okwuosa, the judgement debtor, who was indebted to the applicant to tune of about $1 million only.
But following the issuance of the Writ of attachment and sale against the said properties by the court as directed in suit number E/147/2012, Senator Uba approached the court as an interested party/appellant saying that the two properties in question were bought for him by the said Major Okwuosa from Chief R. O. Nkwocha family at N250 million.
But in a 26-paragraph counter affidavit opposing Uba’s motion dated October 19, 2012, Prince Eze’s counsel, Orakwue, told the court that Uba was not the owner of the two immovable properties but Okwuosa, who had his interest duly registered in the names at the Lands Registery vide irrevocable power of attorney and Deed of Assignment.

How To Choose A Wedding Suit

HOW TO CHOOSE A SUIT YOU CAN WEAR AFTER THE WEDDING

" An inexpensive but impeccably cut suit will look like a million bucks. The same can’t be said for a pricey, ill-fitting one."
via J. Crew

Guys, let’s face it: When it comes to weddings, it’s all about her. From the rehearsal dinner to the reception to the exotic honeymoon locale, we’ve got little say. And then, of course, there’s the dress -- perhaps the only thing anyone cares about. After all, even if the salmon is bland, the bridesmaids are drunk and the band plays "Sweet Caroline" a few too many times, everyone will look back and think about that dress. So what’s in it for us? In short, not much unless you select your suit wisely and squeeze it for all it’s worth. Lucky for you, we know just how to do that.

Choosing Your Wedding Suit: What You Should Know

Purchase - don’t rent
Most men go the rent-a-tux route. And we wouldn’t totally blame you for it either, considering that you probably plan on wearing the darn thing for just a few hours. But this isn’t your high school prom. So you can scrounge for your scrapbook or take our word for it: rented suits never fit properly and always look cheap. Not to mention the fact that someone else (in fact, many someone elses) wore it on their special day. Break the mold and buy.

Quit the corporate culture
You should look like you’re getting married, not giving a PowerPoint presentation. Suiting up in something new rather than a rental or boardroom leftover is a first step, but it’s far from the only thing that will keep you out of the office. Go black, three piece, and shell out somewhat more than you may be used to. We guarantee it’ll pay off.
Say something with the fit
You may be tempted to break out the bells and whistles. This day, after all, is only supposed to come around once. But despite your best instincts, your energy and hard earned money is better spent on tailoring. An inexpensive but impeccably cut suit will look like a million bucks. The same can’t be said for a pricey, ill-fitting one.
Form follows fabric
A tailor’s nip and tuck can only go so far. Without a fine fabric to lay the foundation, it’s tough to construct a winning wedding suit. A slouchy, shapeless blend will leave you looking, well, slouchy and shapeless. A weighty wool, on the other hand, will do just the opposite.

How To Wear Your Wedding Suit Post-Wedding

Funny thing is, with all the fabrics and fits, picking your suit often takes longer than the time you’ll actually spend wearing it. But, as promised, there are a few things you can do to maximize mileage. Here are some ways to make sure the suit you choose can be worn well after your wedding day is over.

Ditch the vest
Sure, it’s the easiest way to switch up a three piece, and you’ll gain a new weekday work suit in the process. We just recommend reserving it for special days when you need to play boss and bust balls. Pair it with a red, purple or light-blue knit tie from Drake’s London. The knit will lighten up the mood, but it’s really the color that counts. Remember: The suit is already black, and you don’t want to look like you’re going to a wedding again, or worse, a funeral.

Add the vest
While your workweek may be saturated with suits, we’re willing to bet your weekend is of the jeans and tee variety. Throw on the vest with slim-cut, dark denim (like this indigo resin rinse from J Brand), a solid white V-neck from Uniqlo and sleek black sneakers by Lanvin. Just make sure to keep the vest open and the shirt fitted but not skin tight. Otherwise, you’ll come off like you’re trying too hard.

Jerry-rig the jacket
Take the jacket and use it as a blazer. Yeah, yeah, we know you’ve heard this one before. But take note: The jacket should be trim and tailored enough to survive on its own. It’s a rule that will help you find the right fit for your wedding suit and one that lends itself nicely to the tailored cut of Joe’s Brixton blue jeans and a Hugo Boss spread-collar button down long after the big day is over. For those extra special nights out, feel free to slip on that vest with the Tie Bar’s classic black skinny tie and a pair of patent leather lace-ups from Ferragamo.
Fly the trousers solo
Using the trousers with your regular run-of-the-mill button down for business-casual climes is fine by us. But you could really stretch your investment by pairing the pants with a crisp, un-tucked polo (we’re partial to this three-button pima pique from Theory) and some cool kicks like Tods’ iconic driver in red suede.

In the end, all eyes will definitely be on her dress. But there’s no harm in stealing a few glances for yourself on that day and those blissful years beyond.

WHY MEN DATE "DIFFICULT WOMEN"

Difficult Women
"You can be attracted to the bitch because she expresses the anger you can’t, won’t or don’t allow yourself to express -- which often means you're “a nice guy.” "
God knows there are difficult women out there. Women who are -- at times -- shallow, bitchy, selfish, dishonest and, of course, crazy. But what I’m here to say is this: Your problem is not that these women exist; your problem is that you’re trying to date them.

Wait. I hear you protesting. You are right now saying to your computer screen: That’s the surprising secret about difficult women? But, but, but… all women are like that!

Actually, things are more complex than that. Because, while it may be true that every woman has her something, we don’t all have the same something. Right? So, why, if you’re like most guys, do you find yourself dealing with one or two of the same somethings over and over again? Even when you specifically go looking for someone completely different from the last chick who caused you so much grief, how is it that, lo and behold, here you are, one year later, putting a new password on your phone, again?

I’ll tell you how.

Because it’s not that bitches is crazy. It’s that you got a thing for bitches… who is crazy. This is also known as having a “type.” But where we generally think of having a type as, say, liking redheads or being an “ass man,” what most people really have is an energetic type. Someone who acts (and reacts) in ways that we mostly enjoy, until we realize that what we’re attracted to is just the exterior, hiding the other quality which, it turns out, bugs the sh*t out of us. And the deal is this -- that other quality? It matches something inside you. So let’s look at some common archetypes and what they might correspond to in yourself.

The Bitch

What makes her attractive: She’s a go-getter. She’s sassy. She’s a challenge. And, often, she makes money. What’s underneath that: The bitch is all about anger. Often, she’s been hurt out there in the world and she’s developed a tough exterior -- and sometimes interior -- to protect herself.  What dating her says about you: There are two ways this can go. You can be attracted to the bitch because she expresses the anger you can’t, won’t or don’t allow yourself to express -- which often means you're “a nice guy.” Or she just reflects (and usually amplifies) your own anger back to you. If you’re the kind of guy who’s known for knock-down drag-outs with his girlfriends, or maybe gets into a bar fight every once in a while, this is definitely you.

The Sexpot

What makes her attractive: Duh. She’s hot. And she’s willing. What’s underneath that: A woman who knows how hot she is and has spent most of her life and relationships controlling men with her sexuality. What dating her says about you: I know all men are attracted to “hot,” available women. But only a specific kind of guy is actually trying to get into a relationship with a woman who wears Lucite heels -- or just vibes likes she’s wearing them. If you’re the guy who just can’t get interested in a girl who couldn’t pass for a porn star, you might have an issue with addictive sex. You know how normal drinkers just have wine with dinner while the addicts are in the bathroom doing blow? When it comes to sex, that’s you. You need to get high. Off sex. You know you’re this guy if sometimes you just wish you could be the kind of guy who could settle down with a “regular” woman and get it over with -- but you know deep down, you just can’t.

The Gold Digger

What makes her attractive: She’s a trophy. Incredibly well put together, she’s the kind of girl who, when you’re with her, makes you wish you could run into your ex. What’s underneath that: The gold digger thinks like an asset manager -- how can she use what you want to get what she wants. What dating her says about you: If you’re attracted to trophy wife material, you go for only eights, nines or tens. You’re most likely also a “King of the World” type who believes all women are just out for (your) money. If this is you, women are just another resource to be mined or commodity to be traded. So it makes sense that you attract (and are attracted to) women who leverage their own assets in the hopes they’ll be able to exploit yours. The beauty of this relationship is that you can both be sure you’ll get what you really deserve: each other
If the messy woman is your jam, there’s a strong possibility that you feel kind of chaotic inside but can’t allow yourself to acknowledge that."

The Mess

What makes her attractive: She’s often charmingly childlike and adorable, and unlike a lot of other women, she really needs you. And that feels good. What’s underneath that: She’s in trouble. She’s an alcoholic, she’s in debt, she’s bananas, or she’s got daddy issues the size of Montana. What dating her says about you: Whatever she’s got going on, you imagine you’re going to fix it, and that makes you feel powerful. And women who can take care of themselves don’t make you feel like that. If the messy woman is your jam, there’s a strong possibility that you feel kind of chaotic inside but can’t allow yourself to acknowledge that -- it would be too embarrassing (even to yourself) -- so instead you find a messy girl and try to clean her up. Either that, or your mom was a disaster. Either way, therapy would be a really good thing for you.

The Liar

What makes her attractive: She wants to have sex with you on a regular basis and keep it casual. What’s underneath that: She swears she only wants to be friends with benefits, but she’s kidding herself. In three weeks, she’s going to be demanding to know why you refuse to commit. What dating her says about you: There’s only one way a woman -- or anyone -- can successfully lie to you, and that’s if you’re lying to yourself. Usually, you know all along if a woman is really the type who can have sex casually. At least if you’re over, say, age 25. But she was there, she was cute and you wanted to believe her, so you went along with it. And now you have to deal with the fact that she’s upset you don’t want more. The bottom line here is that when you get real with yourself, everyone who isn’t being real with you will instantly bail out of your life. Which is precisely what you’re afraid of -- that if you're honest about what you want, people will bail.

What Do You Do With This Knowledge?

This is a short list, but you get the idea. So what do you do? Start approaching every date you go on, every chick you find yourself involved with and every old girlfriend you’ve ever had as embodying some aspect of yourself you need to deal with.

I’m suggesting that you start paying way more attention to those mechanics. And if you stick with it, even just a little while, I can promise you something amazing will happen. As you begin to see that women aren't really the “other” -- they’re just you, except the flip side -- you’ll stop running around selfishly taking an up-or-down, hot-or-not vote on every woman you date. You’ll become curious about who they are as human beings and what that might reflect back on you. And you'll realize the other surprising secret about difficult women: They’re only really looking for their match.

Sallah: Security On Red Alert Throughout Northern Nigeria

By SaharaReporters, New York
Ahead of the Islamic Eid El Kabir (Sallah) celebration across the Muslim world, Nigeria’s security agencies are on red alert to contain possible Boko Haram attacks.
A top military officer in charge of security operations in one of the Northern States confirmed this to SaharaReporters today over the telephone, saying that some intelligence was obtained in that regard.
In Nigeria, Thursday and Friday are public holidays in commemoration of the Islamic festival.
The source said that the Nigerian military and its sister agencies are in receipt of intelligence reports that suggested that the militant sect is planning attacks across the Northern States in such places as Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Damaturu and Potiskum, all of them places in which they have been engaged in serious gun duels recently with the Joint Task Force.
The source cited confessions provided by recently arrested Boko Haram militants and renewed military activities in Maiduguri, Potiskum, Damaturu, Mubi, Kaduna and Bauchi as proof that military high command is taking drastic action, including preparation for the Eid.
He also noted that all military personnel have been instructed to embark on thorough stop and search exercise without any laxity in all areas of contention with the sect.
Despite that, all officers and men have been instructed to ensure the protection of the fundamental human rights of citizens, as they usually get manhandled by overzealous security personnel in such situations.
SaharaReporters also gathered from another source that some anti-terror military personnel have recently completed further training in anti-terrorism and insurgency at Nigeria Army formations in Niger State and Kaduna States.  They have consequently been deployed to Bauchi, Kaduna, Maiduguri, Damaturu and Potiskum to beef up security in those troubled areas.

EXCLUSIVE-Nigeria loses billions in cut price oil deals-report

* Nigeria loses out on $29 bln on cut-price gas deals-report
* State-oil company sells itself cheap oil and gas
* Oil ministers hand out discretionary oil licences
* Hundreds of millions in missing bonuses, royalties
* Traders buy crude oil "without formal contracts"

By Joe Brock

ABUJA, Oct 24 (Reuters) - Nigeria lost out on tens of billions of dollars in oil and gas revenues over the last decade from cut price deals struck between multinational oil companies and government officials, a confidential report seen by Reuters says.

A team headed by the former head of the anti-corruption agency Nuhu Ribadu produced the 146-page study on an oil ministry request. It covers the year 2002 to the present.

Nigeria is Africa's largest crude oil exporter, shipping more than 2 million barrels per day (bpd), and is also home to the world's ninth biggest gas reserves and one of its largest Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) export terminals.

The report provides new details on Nigeria's long history of corruption in the oil sector, which has enriched its elite and provided the oil majors with hefty profits while two thirds of people live in poverty.

Oil Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke told Reuters on Tuesday she had received the report last month but that it was a draft and the government was still supposed to give input. The one seen by Reuters was labelled "Final Report."

The report concluded that oil majors Shell, Total and Eni made bumper profits from cut-price gas, while Nigerian oil ministers handed out licences at their own discretion. This, while not illegal, did not follow best practice of using open bids. Hundreds of millions of dollars in signature bonuses on those deals were also missing, it said.

"We have not seen this report and are, therefore, unable to comment on the content, but we will study it if and when it is published," a Shell spokesman said.

The report alleges international oil traders sometimes buy crude without any formal contracts, and the state oil firm had short-changed the Nigerian treasury billions over the last 10 years by selling crude oil and gas to itself below market rates.

There was no suggestion that the oil majors or traders had done anything illegal, but the report highlighted a lack of transparency in their dealings in a nation rife with graft.

"It is a draft," Alison-Madueke said. "There will be some areas where the government ... may have a slightly different opinion ... (and) will put its point of view to the committee."

She said she expects the final report to be with President Goodluck Jonathan within two weeks.

MISSING BILLIONS

Ribadu's probe was among several set up following a week of nationwide strikes against a rise in fuel prices in January, which morphed into a campaign against oil corruption.

Billions of dollars of revenue was missing in unpaid debts from signature bonuses and royalties, the report found.

Nigeria LNG, a company jointly owned by the NNPC, Shell, Total and Eni had paid the country for gas at cut-down prices before exporting it to international markets, the report said.

Total and Eni declined to comment because they invest in but do not operate Nigeria LNG, the role played by Shell.

"The estimated cumulative of the deficit between value obtainable on the international market and what is currently being obtained from NLNG, over the 10 year period, amounts to approximately $29 billion," the report said.

It also said foreign oil firms had outstanding debts.

Addax, now a unit of China's state-owned Sinopec, owes Nigeria $1.5 billion in unpaid royalties, part of a $3 billion black hole of unpaid bonuses and royalties owed by oil firms.

Addax did not respond to requests for comment, but the report noted it disputes owing the signature bonuses.

Shell owes Nigeria's government 137.57 billion naira ($874 million) for gas sold from its Bonga deep offshore field, the report said, while oil majors owed $58 million between them for gas flaring penalties. They were also not adhering to newer higher fines.

The probe also said Nigeria was the only nation to sell all its crude through international oil traders rather than directly to refineries, adding that such trades were often opaque.

INFORMAL TRADING

It said some international oil traders who were not "on the approved master list of customers" had been sold crude oil "without a formal contract" so little could be obtained about the details of these deals, which can be worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

"This logically will serve to reduce margins obtainable on sale of crude oil," the report said.

But Alison-Madueke disputed this, saying there are no informal contracts and there is "an official tender put out every year", which can be seen by the public in newspapers.

The state oil firm gets an allocation of 445,000 bpd of crude oil to refine locally but it has been selling itself this oil at cut-down prices, a practice which cost Nigeria $5 billion in potential revenue between 2002-2011, the report said.

"NNPC buys at international rates," Alison-Madueke retorted.

The report said the NNPC made 86.6 billion naira over the 10-year period by using overly generous exchange rates in its declarations to the government. There was no sign of the money.

Nigerian oil ministers between 2008-2011 handed out seven discretionary licences but there is $183 million in signature bonuses missing from the deals, the report said. Three of these oil licences were awarded since Alison-Madueke took up her position in 2010, according to the report.

"I have not given any discretionary awards during this administration," Alison-Madueke told Reuters, although she added that the president had the right to do so instead of using bids if he saw fit. "That is entirely up to him," she said.

Among the report's recommendations were that parts of NNPC be reorganised or scrapped, an independent review of the use of traders be set up and a transparency law be passed requiring oil companies to disclose all payments made to Nigeria.

U.S. regulators put new rules in place in August that will require U.S.-listed oil and gas companies to disclose payments they make to foreign governments like Nigeria. 10 Top Web Browsers of All Time

For surfing the web, a top web browser is not only required but appreciated. You’ll surely feel more comfortable knowing that your browser is secure and reliable. After all, it is involved in sensitive procedures like storing passwords, accessing secured sites for online banking and so on.
Today, we’ll take a look at some of the browsers that have come and gone and list the top web browsers of all time.

The first ever web browser was WorldWideWeb. Soon, Mosaic was released in 1993, and Microsoft launched the widely-used Internet Explorer in 1995. With an increase in the number of people exposed to the Internet, the browser war soon started. Now, there are a variety of browsers, some even designed for specific purposes like social networking. Some are widely used, and some vanished before they’re heard of.
Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera are the top web browsers today.

Top Web Browsers of All Time #1. Firefox

Firefox has a fairly decent share of the web browser market with a healthy 21.86%. It is mainly because Firefox is an open source web browser with exceptional community support. Along with other regular features, it has a private browsing mode, improved security, smooth and fast browsing, built-in spelling checker, and allows for various customisations. I personally love its add-ons which are open source developments. Firefox 4 is probably the best browser right now in terms of features. Based on its success, Mozilla has now launched a mobile web browser as well.

Top Web Browsers of All Time #2. Google Chrome

Google Chrome was developed in December 2008 by Google targeting users who wanted a simple browsing experience. And it became successful in a short span of time due to a very effective advertising campaign by Google, plus the Google Chrome is very good web browser.  Google Chrome was the first browser which emphasised on maximising browsing window space, which was later followed by the leading browsers like Internet Explorer and Firefox. Google Chrome skins allow users to customise the browser’s layout to heighten their browsing experience. Adding to its list of innovative features are fast startup times and incognito browsing.

Top Web Browsers of All Time #3. Opera

Developed by Opera Software and available to the public in 1996, Opera’s unique feature is its integrated Bittorrent client. Acclaimed as the fastest web browser, Opera is geared with all the features of the mainstream browsers. One of the best features of Opera is its “Opera Turbo Mode“. This mode speeds up (doubles or triples) surfing on slow connections by using Opera’s proxy servers to compress data and image traffic before it reaches the Opera browser on the client computer.
Opera was the first web browser for mobile phones.

Top Web Browsers of All Time #4. Safari

Apple Inc developed Safari in the year 2003 as a part of Mac OS. Its elegant design (like all Apple products), HTML 5 and CSS3 support, webkit, private browsing are some of the features which make it stand out. Safari is the default browser for Mac OS, iPad, iPod touch and iPhone and works on Windows and Linux as well. Many people download it just because it gives a Mac-like browsing experience.

Top Web Browsers of All Time #5. Rockmelt

You can call it a social media web browser, as it integrates Twitter, Facebook and Google Search. Rockmelt comes with a Facebook sidebar in case you want to contact any of your Facebook friends directly from the browser. There is a chat bar as well and you’re able to use to that update your Facebook status or change your profile picture. Virtually any Facebook-related task may be performed without leaving the active tab. There is also a mobile version for iOS.

You may still download a copy of Netscape Navigator here

Top Web Browsers of All Time #6. Avant Browser

Based on Internet Explorer, Avant Browser is a no-frills, simple browser. It might fall short of the professional alternatives like Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, but was fairly popular for its Opera-like approach of having a tabbed browsing interface. Internet Explorer had problems rendering certain web-pages which were not tested for IE compatibility and Avant swooped in to provide Opera-like features on an Internet Explorer platform launching these problematic webpages without a hiccup.

Top Web Browsers of All Time #7. Maxthon Web Browser

Maxthon might not be a very popular browser nor is it geared with top-notch features like Firefox and Chrome. Still, I find it unique because it is a powerful tabbed browser meant for users who are fed up of browser crashes. In other mainstream browsers, if one tab freezes, it’ll take the whole browser down with it, but with Maxthon’s isolator technology, a wall is built around each tab that prevents a bad page from freezing the entire browser. All in all, a better web experience is guaranteed if you like surfing many websites in a single session. Maxthon has also released a browser for Android phones and boasts of having the best RSS reader for mobile phones.

Top Web Browsers of All Time #8. Deepnet Explorer

Deepnet Explorer claims to be the world’s first browser with a built-in RSS news reader, phishing alarm and P2P client integration. Users can share files on the Gnutella network with the advanced version of Deepnet. Its RSS reader also comes with many news feeds pre-installed and is easy-to-use.

Top Web Browsers of All Time #9. Netscape Navigator

Based on the Mosaic browser, Netscape Navigator was very popular in the 1990s. By 2002, its usage had come to a decline due to the increased popularity of a better Internet Explorer. Later, Netscape Navigator was acquired by AOL, which decided to permanently halt development of Netscape Navigator browsers in 2007.
Netscape Navigator will always be remembered as the most-widely used browser by the early internet generation (users in 1990s), and impressed one and all through a simplistic web experience.

Supported platforms: Windows, Linux and Mac

Top Web Browsers of All Time #10. Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is the most widely-used web browser in the market since its launch in 1995, probably because it comes included with Windows. Late last century, Internet Explorer had a huge market share and was the unanimous leader in the web browser market. With the growth of Firefox and Chrome, Internet Explorer’s user share dropped to 55.1% in April 2011 from almost 90% in 2004 (source: Wikipedia). In its current version, Internet Explorer 9 has pinning functionality, tab enhancements, InPrivate Browsing, and Windows 7 integration. With Internet Explorer 8 being a major flop, Internet Explorer 9 looks like its reversing Microsoft’s fortunes in the browser war with innovative features.

Through the above list, I’ve tried showcasing the top web browsers to date. Some web browsers like Firefox and Internet Explorer have become very popular, and have captured a fair share of the market. Others like Maxthon and Rockmelt have come up with very innovative features and target a specific user-base only. With the rapid advances in technology, browsers made specifically for mobile phones are becoming more popular.
The browser war is surely going to continue getting fiercer by the day, but this is one war which the whole of mankind (or should I say, the tech world) is going to benefit from. I for sure, would love trying different browsers to meet my ultimate goal when in front of my computer — to simplify browsing the web. Till then, I love my Firefox and Chrome.
What are you favourite browsers? Any suggestions to add to this list? Voice out in the comments.
