Married Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi's wedding to mistress disrupted by wife
This sounds like something out of a movie, but it's real life. Let me tell you guys the story. Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi married Lilian Akiyesi seven years ago, after the two dated for six years. (Pictured above on their wedding day). So they've been together for thirteen years. After trying for years to conceive, Lilian finally got pregnant last year...but unknown to her, her husband was having an affair with a Lagos based lady. (Lilian and Solomon are based in Port Harcourt).
Solomon's Lagos based girlfriend got pregnant and the two started planning a wedding that was supposed to take place today April 13th. Fortunately for Lilian, she got wind of the wedding plans just days ago. And according to what her friend told me, Solomon sent money to Lilian just yesterday Friday April 12th and promised to return home next week. He told Lilian that he was in Lagos to shoot a movie.
When Lilian confirmed the wedding was really going to happen today, she contacted the police, took some family members and friends and stormed the wedding venue - Overcomers World Outreach located at Overcomers Close, off Ramlat Timson str, in Aguda, Surulere. Fortunately someone from her entourage deemed it fit to invite me to the party...lol
Lilian, who is eight months pregnant, stormed the church and managed to stop the wedding before the pastor could pronounce her husband and his mistress 'husband and wife'. The police were later called to return sanity to the place

Do you regret coming back home?
I don’t. I was even saying so this morning. If I didn’t, the curiosity would have been too much; I would have missed out on a lot of things. I’m glad I came back home. My feet are so well grounded. I know what I want and I know what I am capable of doing.
For somebody who is into PR, how come negative publicity has followed you in the short while you’ve been in Nigeria?
I will not let negative publicity control my life. It can’t make me not to live the kind of life I want to live. That means the people behind it have won. Some other persons would have run back to the States, but I didn’t and I will not. It is a little bit harder to manage yourself in terms of PR. I managed it well. I did as much as possible to reverse the notion about me. The terrain was even new to me. I kept wondering why people would want to say bad stuff about me. But now I have learnt, once I read or hear anything bad about me, I write my defence on Twitter.
What has kept you going?
I’ve been busy. A lot of people would have suffered from acute depression. I got angry at times but I was determined not to be broken. People ended up liking me. They found out I was the opposite of what was said about me.
Do you have any issues with K Solo?
I don’t have any issues with him. We are not friends. We’ve never sat down to have a 10-minute conversation. The issue with him came up because I follow him on Twitter and I saw the comment he made concerning his son. The mother in me couldn’t take it. I was angry about why he could say such concerning an innocent child on social media. That was it.
How are you coping as a single mother?
My son still has a father who is alive. It is not hard. He is well taken care of. I’m doing very well. It is not a big deal. Things happen, I will not be the first and I will not be the last.
Have you ruled out marriage?
Everything is in God’s hands. I will not rule out that aspect.
What if 9ice comes back to you?
(laughs) No comment. I will not answer that. I cannot predict the future.
What is this story that he snubbed you at an event?
I don’t know where that story came from. How could he have snubbed me? We are not enemies. He didn’t snub me at any event. I got to the event quite early. At that point, I was about leaving. And because there were too many eyes on me, I just had to stay awhile. It was even later that he asked me if I was at the event.
Do you still talk?
Oh yes we talk. We have a child together. We are friends.
During the brouhaha, you were outspoken, why?
There will be a time in the future when my son will be able to browse the Internet and read up all the stuff that happened. I didn’t want him to ask me why I didn’t defend myself. That was what inspired my own decision. I didn’t care whatever consequences that came out from my defending myself. I had to defend myself.
Why did you marry 9ice? So many people were of the view you were taken by his fame…
When I met him, he wasn’t that popular. I met him before the stardom. He was somebody whose personality I liked. It didn’t have anything to do with his being a celebrity. I saw a person I liked. I didn’t look at his status. I would say he was the first guy I was ever really in love with.
Was he your first boyfriend?
No. he wasn’t. But he was the first guy I had genuine love for.
Who was your first boyfriend?
It was one guy. We still talk. I’m not going to mention his name. He is still my friend.
How did you feel when you heard that another lady now has kids for 9ice?
No comment. I am not going to say anything concerning that. I don’t even know about it. I read about it in the papers. But then, I have read so many things about me that weren’t true in the papers. However, true or not, I will not talk about it.
It is more than two years since you separated. Are you now officially divorced?
I’ll not say anything about that. I’m sure 9ice will not tell you either.
We learnt you went back to beg him to take you back?
Me? Never. I did not. I know where the story came out from. Somebody close to him was feeding the press with the story. For some reasons known to him, he never liked me. He was the one that was always talking about me and coming up with such stories.
I guess you mean his former manager, Deinde?
Yes. And since he left him, no story has been said about me. I didn’t go to beg 9ice to take me back. Why would I do that?
Did you actually sleep with Ruggedman?
Of course I did not. I can categorically tell you I did not. Ruggedman has been my friend. But even before then, we didn’t see. And even after the whole incident, we have hardly seen. The last time I saw Rugged was during Occupy Nigeria. I have not seen him again since then.
Would you want Ruggedman and 9ice to be friends again?
They are adults so they should make their own decisions. But then again, I want peace between them. The fight was not warranted. There shouldn’t have been any fight in the first place. The song that caused the problem wasn’t about me. I was there when the song was recorded. I can still remember what I cooked that day. I cooked jollof rice and I diced the meat I used in cooking the rice. The lady referred to in the song was not me. All the attributes didn’t have anything to do with me. I don’t have tattoos. The last time I checked, I wasn’t bisexual as the lady referred to in the song. It was just a song but people just chose to believe whatever would suit them.

I haven’t followed the WWE and the wrestling scene in general since my early teenage years. I watch a few matches here and there as my brother flips through the channels but nothing serious. That is, until I watched Nacho Libre for the very first time about a week ago and ever since then, I’ve had the urge to bash peoples heads in and break chairs over their backs (only pretend fighting of course). This entire past week, when somebody walks past me in the hallway of our home, I pretend to smack them around like we would during our childhood after we had just finished watching a WWE Wrestling match. I’m immature as is but these pretend fights at this age are on a whole new level.
Although it’s too late for me to even consider a WWE career, it got me interested in some of the past characters since I missed out on so many years. The list here doesn’t include the greatest WWE wrestlers of all-time. No, instead I have a list of the most wackiest WWE wrestlers that have stepped into the ring.

Rikishi
Okay, Rikishi is not really all that wacky. He’s one giant son of a gun weighing in at more than 400 pounds. The crazy thing about Rikishi is his signature move called the Stink Face. Do you really want to be on the receiving end of the “Stink Face” from a man that size? Rikishi would fling opponents into the corner and then back that booty right into their face resulting in a swift surrender or being “knocked out”.
The Moondogs
This duo were known for their shaggy hair, wild beards, frayed jeans, and of course their animal bones which they used as chew toys as well as weapons against their opponents. Their animal like behavior and lack of hygiene made them bad to the bone and the superstars of the time feared going head to head against the Moondogs.
Abdullah The Butcher
Wacky, disturbing, and strange are all appropriate words to describe this fellow. Abdullah the Butcher was known for his hardcore style of wrestling and every wrestling match which involved him was guaranteed to have blood. One of his noticeable features are the deep scars on his forehead which are a result of frequent blading (intentional cutting to provoke bleeding). Some of his famous antics include eating announcers’ ties and gobbling down whole raw fish.
The Bushwhackers
Not much to say about these guys. They were more disgusting than wacky as these freaks of nature enjoyed licking each other, their opponents, and they also licked fans en route to the ring. That’s pretty messed up.
The Boogeyman
The Boogeyman seems like an appropriate name and I’m sure the Voodoo Man would work just as well. The strangest thing Boogeyman has done on stage is grab a handful of live worms and put them in his mouth followed by spitting them into the mouth of someone else. That would be pretty scary to experience….and disgusting.

Man arrested After impregnating two of his daughters

The incident came to light after the suspect (name withheld) had attempted severally to rape his third daughter.
The 14-year-old daughter, a student of the Community Secondary School, Agbura, was said to have reported the sexual harassment by her father
to the school counselor during a guardian and counseling session.
The school counselor, who is also the victim’s class teacher, reported the case to the Ministry of Women Affairs which immediately alerted the police.
DailyPost gathered that the suspects arrest was initiated by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs, Mrs. Pulu Zifawei.
Information made available to DailyPost, indicated that one of his daughters, 23, had conceived twice for the father but mysteriously lost the babies at birth while the second daughter who was also impregnated by the father has relocated from the community out of shame.
The suspect’s son who declined to mention his name, said he became aware of his father’s shameful acts at the age of 12.
“Our mother had reported the matter to the members of the family. On that day, our father nearly beat my mother to death. Each time the issue came up, my father would beat my mother,” he said.
When contacted for confirmation of the arrest, the Police command Spokesperson, Mr. Alex Akhigbe, was to be in a meeting as at the time of filing this report but a senior police officer at the Azikoro Police Station confirmed the suspect’s arrest.
He however declined to speak further, noting that only the Police Public Relations Officer can give further details.

In a telephone interview with The Punch on Thursday, Mercy, who sounded quite edgy, said there was no iota of truth in the report, which was published by a popular female blogger.

I left the venue of the show in company with my husband, my friend, Faith, and my personal assistants. At no time did he lose his temper or drag me out of the room.”
Mercy said she had driven to the Troy Lounge, the venue of the event, in her car straight from a party organised by another actress, Iyabo Ojo, to mark the anniversary of her NGO.
After the interview session with Oodua TV, she had decided to leave because she had another occasion to attend somewhere. An associate of her husband, a lady named Fadekemi, was celebrating her birthday.
The actress told our correspondent that she was joined by her husband in her guest room. They both came downstairs and left together in his car after her own vehicle, a Toyota Solaria, developed a technical fault and refused to start.
Wondering why anyone would want to tarnish her image by publishing falsehood about her, she declined ever having a misunderstanding with the author of the report.
“Honestly, I don’t know what I have done wrong to deserve this. My conclusion is that somebody must have sponsored it simply to smear my name with mud. But I don’t know how I have wronged that person,” she claimed.

The shortcut to a woman’s heart is through her nose. Research at the Monell Chemical Sense Centre found a woman’s ability to detect and distinguish between scents is 1,000 times better than yours. Plus, her processing hardware for smell and emotions are located in the same neural network of her brain. That means the right scents are sex-appeal superchargers. Research at Chicago’s Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Foundation found the most effective evoke childhood memories or favourite foods, specifically cucumber, baby powder and lavender which all cause an increase in vaginal blood flow.
There’s something deeper at work, too. University of Newcastle researchers discovered women are attracted to the smell of men with different ‘histocompatibility’ complexes – a collection of genes related to the immune system. Tests carried out at the University of Northumbria showed women found men more attractive when exposed to the chemicals in their armpits – nice.

Touch
A delicate, precise touch can take your appeal to the next level, but don’t go early. Filling her personal space too soon is a major turn-off, warns anthropologist Kate Fox from Oxford’s Social Issues Research Centre.
If you’re talking for the first time and you’re close enough to whisper, you’re too close. “That’s her intimate zone, less than 18 inches from her, which is reserved for lovers, family and close friends,” says Fox. “This doesn’t mean ‘don’t touch’, but avoid touches which may seem threatening. Experiments have shown a light, brief brush on the arm during an initial encounter has immediate, lasting positive effects.”
Keeping your touch light is key. Swedish researchers at the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology at Sahlgrenska University discovered a complex second nerve network beneath the skin – known as CT Fibres – which are different in structure from her main touch receptors and stimulated by soft sensations.
