Actor on the run over N20m fraud!!!
THE police are on the trail of a Nollywood actor (name withheld), alleged to have masterminded a N20 million fraud in a freight forwarding company
Vanguard gathered that the Nollywood star allegedly perpetrated the act over several months because of his strategic position in the company which gave him access to vital documents and account details of many clients.
The Nollywood star was said to be the account officer of a particular ‘big client’ of the firm, a position which made him to be privy to outflow and inflow in that particular account.
From this position, the actor allegedly received cheques of various sums, which he allegedly diverted to private interests through a micro-finance bank with allegedly connivance of officials of a commercial bank in Lagos.
Police sources, however, told Vanguard that the bubble burst when the company embarked on a comprehensive audit of its 2012 books.
Our source at the Apapa Area Command of the Police who pleaded anonymity disclosed that the matter is still under investigation, but he confirmed that, when the Police went after the said staff of the company at Aboru in Ipaja, a Lagos suburb, but the actor was said to have moved out.
He was however traced to the new hiding place where Police reportedly met the family members who also claimed not to know his whereabouts.

Very Funny: Man hides $15,000 in the oven, wife bakes it by accident
An oven is not a place to hide your cash.
A man has probably learned a costly lesson where he hides his cash.
The unidentified father of Sydney, Australia, sold his car last week. The $15,000 in revenue was supposed to be spent on his mortgage payment and other expenses, according to the Australian news media.
Opting not to squirrel away with the loot in a mattress or bury it in his backyard, he decided to hide the cash in his oven, which is rarely used.
It turns out, his wife decided to use the oven that day. She preheated the oven to warm up chicken nuggets for her two children and, yes, she cooked the cash in the process.
"It was everything we had," he told the news media. "I have nothing in my name. Thatmoney had to go to my mortgage."
His wife was equally distraught and apparently could not help but mourn to tell her husband after discovering what had happened. The money was baked in a mess of burnt colors.
He approached his lender and the Reserve Bank of Australia for help.
The Reserve Bank advises people to take damaged currency to a bank. According to the Reserve Bank's policy, "if several pieces of the same ticket is presented, the policy of the Reserve Bank is that each piece to be worth some value in proportion to its size. The value total paid must be the face value of the original ticket. A man has probably learned a costly lesson where he hides his money in cash.

Alu!!! Woman Stabbed her daughter-In-Law to Death
The women, who lives in the same neighbourhood with his son, Chinedu and the deceased wife, hailed from Imo State. She was alleged to have been at loggerheads for sometime over a picture taken by the deceased at the wedding of her (Kareen’s) daughter, last December.
Trouble was said to have broken out between the late Oluchi and her mother-in-law when it was reported to her that Kareen (her mother-in-law) was caught at a herbalist’s home with one of her photographs.
In a bid to retrieve the picture, Oluchi approached Kareen and pleaded with her to return the said picture to her but she ignored all pleas and rather took offence for the effrontery of her daughter-in-law.
Angered by what she saw as “confrontation” by her son’s wife, Mrs Kareen confronted her son Chinedu and warned him to call his wife to order or risk being punished with her.
Unknown to the son that the mother had not forgiven his wife for daring to ask her to return her picture, Chinedu tried to mediate in the spat to appease his mother and the wife.
Family sources said a peace meeting summoned by Chinedu to reconcile his mother with the late wife ended in violence, as the mother, who was armed with a sharp machete, went for her daughter-in-law, who was carrying one of her two daughters on her back and stabbed her in the tummy. The machete pierced through her abdomen and she bled to death.
